Pussy Galore

Well, it’s happened again. I’ve had an epiphany. I’ve gone over it in my mind: Why am I having such a hard time blogging? And the conclusion I woke up to this very morning, sipping coffee and looking out over mountains of powdery snow in my backyard? (I’ll tell you, but I’m trying to decide whether to give you the reason straight up…or make it cooler with a metaphor).

I’ll give you both.

I’m like James Bond( the Sean Connery version)and I can’t be asked to commit to any one girl, no matter how Pussy Galore they are.

Straight up:
WordPress is amazing, but it takes up A LOT of my time.

I’m posting a few paragraphs here and there on my Carr Party Of Five Facebook page.*** There’s no commitment issues there, no guilt, or expectations. I can just share little snippets of my writing and be done, able to flit around looking for Dr. No  doing the other stuff I need to get done. So, for now, until later, that’s where I’ll be. Until I’m not.  I just wanted to let you all know, and tell you Happy New Year.

Love, Lis

May your coming year be filled with magic and dreams and good madness. I hope you read some fine books and kiss someone who thinks you’re wonderful, and don’t forget to make some art — write or draw or build or sing or live as only you can. And I hope, somewhere in the next year, you surprise yourself.   “

***You may be thinking…”That crazy blonde! I thought she gave UP Facebook!” . I did. This is my blogging page. I know some of you aren’t on Facebook, and to you, I hope to see you soon back at WordPress!

  1. I know what you mean, Lis. But I wanted to stop in to say Happy 2013 and it’s nice to know that when you do post, it always makes me smile or laugh or just feel good (and also when you email me). :). much love, my friend. xo

  2. Damn, it sure does take up some time, that is for sure. Where else will you write for fun though, I wonder? Facebook is good for pithy updates, but not so good for writing. xxx see you on fb 🙂
